News Organization(free-write)

The following is an idea for a news orginization. It may have similarities to that of Knol-Google's Wikipedia-esque service-, of which I'm not entirely familiar with. I should start by articulating what I percieve as a problem in the current information age: We are bombarded with news options, Magazine, TV, Internet Video, Newspaper, ect. ect. What are the majority of these distributers driven by? :Advertising sponsers, and their audience. What if an online news distributer was driven by a dig-like voting system(democracy)? What if an online news distributer was driven by a dig-like voting system whose voters where professionals? The vision that I'm editing would be sometype of technocratic driven news orginzation. Thesis(Work in progress) summary. this is a This makes clear why a newer form of news delivery is necessary. With the internet we have instant information at our finger tips. This can be overwhelming for someone who is seeking accurate(non-biased?) news.
